RED CROSS CERTIFICATION COURSES

AMERICAN RED CRISS LIFEGUARD TRAINING
Ages: 15+ years (as of March 29, 2025)
Become a certified lifeguard just in time for the summer! You’ll earn your American Red Cross certification in three different areas Lifeguarding, First Aid, and CPR/AED for the professional rescuer. Please bring a towel and bathing suit to all sessions. All applicants need to pass a pre-test to be eligible and you must attend all classes within the session.

Tuesday, March 11, 5-10pm, Thursday, March 13, 8-10pm, Saturday, March 15, 12-3pm*, Tuesday, March 18, 7-10pm, Thursday, March 20, 8-10pm, Saturday, March 22*, 12-3pm, Tuesday, March 25, 5-10pm, Thursday, March 27, 7-10pm, and Saturday, March 29, 8am-12pm
$400 members / $500 nonmembers

*Classes on Saturday, March 15 and 22 will take place at Hofstra University’s Swim Center, 240 Hofstra University, Hempstead

AMERICAN RED CROSS FIRST AID + CPR CLASSES
Ages: 12+ years
The American Red Cross Adult, Child, and Infant First Aid Certification Course, gives you the information and the skills that you need to help adults and children during many emergency situations, such as burns, cuts, scrapes, sudden illnesses, head, neck, back injuries, heat and cold emergencies.
