Senior Marketing Manager

As Senior Marketing Manager, you will lead the development and execution of comprehensive marketing plans, and devise creative and compelling initiatives and campaigns with both member acquisition and retention in mind. Analyzing and reporting metrics to measure success while identifying areas for improvement and increasing ROI will be vital to this role.

Essential Duties + Responsibilities:

  • Conceptualize, implement, and manage comprehensive marketing and communications plans that will enhance our image and position within the marketplace and the general public
  • Optimize and analyze advertising campaigns on search engines, social media platforms, display advertising, retargeting networks, local publications, and more
  • Implement a 360-degree strategy that utilizes all mediums from mobile to digital, social, print, and more
  • Evaluate the outcomes of marketing projects from conception to completion
  • Effectively communicate and collaborate with multiple departments/Centers, each serving its unique demographic, ensuring programs and services meet the needs and interests of their respective participants and audience
  • Create and implement marketing calendars for each department you oversee
  • Identify and assess new opportunities for growth, research trends, and innovative ways to convey and promote our programs & people
  • Interpret data to make informed decisions on future strategies and provide monthly reporting for dashboard to show engagement across the agency
  • Manage SEO, digital and text campaigns, including vendor relationships, optimizations, and allocations
  • Analyze and optimize metrics for the website, SEO, text, and digital campaigns, further increasing engagement based on results
  • Collaborate with external agency to plan digital activities, including paid social media, display ad campaigns, PPC, and more. Ensure optimization by closely monitoring cost-per-acquisition, click-through rates (CTR), and conversion rates
  • Identify new systems and technologies to gain efficiency and increase productivity
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest marketing trends and techniques, and implement/test them as appropriate
  • Provides quarterly campaign recaps that include campaign details, metrics, takeaways, etc.

  • Support and collaborate with program directors and graphic designers
  • Additional duties as assigned by supervisor

 

Qualifications:

  • 6+ years’ experience in marketing. Nonprofit experience preferred, but not required
  • Background in Marketing or Project Management preferred
  • Proven record of accomplishment of driving client/member engagement, retention, and growth through targeted marketing initiatives
  • Skilled at identifying compelling angles and bringing them to life in clear, innovative, and effective ways
  • Experience with social media, website management, and SEO
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrate a strong sense of ownership, taking initiative to lead projects
  • Excellent analytical skills to leverage metrics, analytics, and consumer behavior trends to drive actionable insights and recommendations
  • Dynamic and critical thinker who understands big-picture business objectives but is also adept at managing project details to ensure successful, on-time, and on-budget delivery
  • Creative problem solver who can both generate innovative ideas and bring them to life
  • Experience in composing compelling narratives that captivate diverse audiences
