Artist Statement
As an Art Director and Creative Director, I used fabric to create movement in fashion photography and to add visual interest to commercials and videos.
In my artistic work, I began experimenting with using repurposed materials, including fabric and elements from nature. I prefer using my hands instead of brushes because it feels more organic. Time and the give‑and‑take of the fabric become creative partners.
The untitled pieces in this exhibit are meant to free your imagination from any pre‑set ideas about the meaning or intent behind each work. I believe a painting or object is not finished until you see it. You complete what I begin.
Move through the gallery alongside artist David Wiseltier, then stay for wine, cheese, and conversation.
Wiseltier’s mixed-media work invites you to let go of expectations and discover your own meaning. Each piece is unfinished until you experience it
