The Manager of Neurodiversity Programs is responsible for program operations, as well as intakes, assessments, and case management for young adults with developmental disabilities. Programs include Life Skills and Community Training, Social/Respite services, and Vocational Training.
Essential Duties + Responsibilities:
- Oversee the program’s overall performance and success
- Develop, implement, and evaluate program delivery
- Lead the behavioral management for clients and staff
- Serve as a liaison between the agency, family, care managers, school, etc.
- Conduct intakes and assessments to determine appropriate programs and services for adults with special needs
- Supervise program staff, including staff performance, schedules, and time off
- Manage and recommend budgets for each program and make changes when necessary
- Ensure program stays within compliance with agency and legal regulations
Qualifications:
- Master level Social Worker, Special Educator, Mental Health Counselor, BCBA, or related field
- Minimum 2 years experience working with individuals with Developmental Disabilities, including Autism Spectrum Disorder required
- Experience working with OPWDD, Day Hab, and Respite programs preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Supervisory experience required
- Able to effectively develop, document, and implement behavior management protocols
- Ability to provide leadership and motivation to staff and work effectively with diverse groups of people
- Maintain confidentiality of information regarding clients and families (in accordance with HIPAA and State & Federal regulations) and submit records to agency within established deadlines
