Ages: 15+ years

This course will train lifeguards to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies in adults, children, and infants until more advanced medical personnel take over. Students who successfully complete this course will receive an American Red Cross CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer certification. The certification is valid for two years, but lifeguards must renew their CPR/AED certifications every year. Class may be shorter depending on enrollment.
