SUMMER STREETERS DAY CAMP
Monday, June 30-Friday, August 15, 2025 (Camp is closed Friday, July 4)
Summer Streeters Day Camp brings the best of Sid Jacobson JCC’s community to your family!
SJJCC’s state-of-the-art facility offers the perfect location for our unique programming all summer long. Campers enjoy our indoor heated pool, and zero-entry kiddie pool, air-conditioned classrooms and program spaces, gymnasium, professional auditorium, and indoor and outdoor playground.
LIL STREETERS
(NURSERY 3S)
Designed specifically for our youngest campers in mind, Lil Streeters is housed in our Early Childhood Center classrooms, providing the perfect space for. Campers enjoy Arts & Crafts, Cooking, Dance, Gymnastics, Music, Science, Sports, Swimming (with American Red Cross instructors), Yoga, and so much more. Theme weeks with Wacky Dress-Up days and in-camp entertainment add to the fun! Our expert team will support your child as they make new friends, take risks, and experience all that camp has to offer!
LOWER CAMP (GRADES PRE-K-KINDERGARTEN)
Campers are housed in our Early Childhood Center classrooms and move throughout the building to enjoy a variety of experiences. Daily activities include Arts & Crafts, Cooking, Dance, Gymnastics, Music, Science, Sports, Swimming (with American Red Cross instructors), Yoga, and so much more. Campers look forward to theme weeks with Wacky Dress-Up days, in-camp entertainment, and three field trips throughout the summer! The fun never ends!
UPPER CAMP
(GRADES 1-3)
Campers are housed in our Early Childhood Center classrooms and move throughout the building to participate in a wide range of programs. They will enjoy Arts & Crafts, Basketball, Chess, Cooking, Dance, Drama Club, Gaga, Gymnastics, Flag Football, Music, Science, Soccer, Swimming (with American Red Cross instructors), Yoga and so much more. Campers look forward to theme weeks with Wacky Dress-Up days, in-camp entertainment, and five field trips throughout the summer. There’s something for everyone!
TRAVEL CAMP
(GRADES 4-8)
Does your camper have a passion for travel? Join our Travel Camp to explore sites near and far! Travel Camp visits local attractions five days a week! From amusement parks to escape rooms to fishing trips, and everything in between, there’s a new adventure every day!
CIT PROGRAM
(GRADES 9-10)
Gain leadership skills, assist campers in their daily activities, participate in meaningful community service projects and exciting field trips, and have tons of fun along the way! Join our CIT program and grow with us at Sid Jacobson JCC!
ENROLL NOW FOR SUMMER 2025!
We offer flexible options to meet the needs of your family! Register for our 3-day or 5-day programs. Half-day options are available for Lil Streeters, Pre-K, and Kindergarten only.
Camp hours are from 8:30am-4pm, with a drive-through arrival and dismissal process (8:30am-1pm for half-day campers). Extended Care is available from 4-5pm daily for an additional fee.
Morning and afternoon snacks are provided each day. A lunch plan through SJJCC’s Gezunter Café is available for purchase, or you can send in lunch from home.
*New for 2025 – Lunch is included in the Travel Camp program and will be provided on all Travel Camp trips*

Rights and Responsibilities of Camp Operators NY State Sanitary Code Subpart 7-2 requires camp operators to provide parents with any enrollment application forms the rights and responsibilities of camp operators: *To inform you and the local health department if your child is involved in any serious injury, illness or abuse incident. *To screen the background and qualifications of all staff. *To train staff about their duties. *To provide supervision for all campers 24 hours a day at overnight camps, and during hours of operation for day camps. *To maintain all camp physical facilities in a safe and sanitary condition. *To provide safe and wholesome meals. *To have and follow required written plans for camp safety, health and fire safety. *To notify the parent or guardian, with the enrollment application or enrollment contract, that: ▪ The camp is required to be permitted to operate by Nassau County Department of Health; ▪ The camp is required to be inspected twice yearly; and ▪ The inspection reports concerning such camps are filed at: 200 County Seat Drive, Mineola, NY 11501
